PPA offers a resource of public information, history references, law, and pathways for agencies to communicate. There is value in keeping this resource available and accessable. By donating or becoming a member, you are helping to do that.
Now there is a statewide association that has a place for all sworn police officers in Pennsylvania. Let your voice be heard to develop benefits that will impact you.
Membership Tiers
ELE
This Member tier is reserved for elected police officers in Pennsylvania. The category includes all office holders regardless if they were elected or appointed. Even if appointed, it would be an appointment by an elected authority. Although deputies are not elected, they also are appointed by an elected authority.
Includes:
State Constables
Deputy State Constables
County Sheriffs
Deputy County Sheriffs
$100 per year – Members at this level have benefits, can vote in general membership meetings, and are eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.
XOC
Applicants may apply at this membership level if they are active ex-officio constables within Pennsylvania. This Tier is for police who serve, but an not elected.
Includes:
Pennsylvania Attorney General Detectives
Municipal Police
County Detectives
State Troopers
$75 per Year – Members at this level have benefits and voting privileges at general membership meetings.
SD
This is the Select Duty membership tier. These are police who are created by statuate and are neither ELE or XOC.
Includes:
Capitol Police
Fire Police
Pennsylvania Game Commission
Special Police
$50 per year – Members at this level have benefits and voting privileges at general membership meetings.
Retired LEO
This membership is open to any previously employed or elected officer from any police agency who is currently living in Pennsylvania.
$50 per year – Members at this level are eligible for member benefits, but do not hold voting privileges.

If approved, your membership will become active when payment is made.
